Paul Skinner is a Northern NSW–based photographer and videographer with over a decade of professional experience. His versatile expertise spans a wide range of projects, from large-scale multi-day TVC productions to collaborations with small businesses. Skilled in both studio and environmental lighting, as well as photography and video editing, Paul seamlessly integrates digital and film techniques to deliver compelling visual stories.
A particular focus of Paul’s work is environmental portraiture — capturing honest, natural moments that reveal the true character of his subjects. Through careful observation, a considered approach, and a mastery of light and composition, he creates timeless images that feel authentic and enduring.
Alongside his client work, Paul runs his own fine art print store, Boulevard Veneer, offering a curated collection of his photographic work. His personal projects often take him around the world, recently travelling to Everest Base Camp and continue to inform his evolving visual style. He is currently working on his first photo book, focused on portraiture in India, which is set to go to press soon.
Paul’s work has been recognised internationally, including an Honorable Mention in the International Photography Awards and selection as a finalist in Head On. Selected clients include Quiksilver, the Queensland Government, Australian Bananas, Essential Energy, and Jack Daniel’s.
